Price Note

Mark a key level with its price and the reason it matters, for example 'weekly close, held three times'.

What it draws

The Price Note combines a price marker with your own text, drawing a level line from its anchor with a note attached that also displays the anchored price. It documents both where a level is and why it matters in one drawing.

How to draw it

  1. Pick Price Note from the left toolbar (Text & Annotations group).
  2. Click on the chart at the price you want to mark, then click again to position the note portion and type your text; confirm to finish. Drag either the anchor or the note to adjust them separately.

How traders use it

  • Mark a key level with its price and the reason it matters, for example 'weekly close, held three times'.
  • Document your invalidation price along with the condition that triggers it, such as 'stop: close below this level'.
  • Annotate measured-move targets with both the computed price and the projection it came from.

Settings reference

Double-click the drawing (or use its floating toolbar → gear) to open settings:

Editing & managing

  • Move / adjust: drag the drawing or any anchor handle; magnet mode snaps points to OHLC values.
  • Clone / lock / hide / delete from the floating toolbar or right-click menu.
  • Templates: save the current style from the settings dialog and reapply it to new drawings.
  • Every action is undoable (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z).

Watch out for

  • Like the price label, the displayed value is fixed at placement, so verify the anchor sits exactly on the intended level before relying on the printed number.
