Arrow Mark Up

Tag every long entry on a backtest chart so win and loss clusters are easy to scan visually.

What it draws

Arrow Mark Up stamps a single upward-pointing arrow at the exact bar and price you click. It is a compact, standardized way to tag bullish events without drawing a full two-point arrow.

How to draw it

  1. Pick Arrow Mark Up from the left toolbar (Arrows group).
  2. Select the tool and click once on the chart where the arrow should appear; the arrow is placed immediately at that bar and price. Drag it afterwards to fine-tune the position.

How traders use it

  • Tag every long entry on a backtest chart so win and loss clusters are easy to scan visually.
  • Mark bullish reversal candles such as hammers at support when studying a setup across history.
  • Flag bars where a bullish signal from your strategy fired, then compare them against actual follow-through.

Editing & managing

  • Move / adjust: drag the drawing or any anchor handle; magnet mode snaps points to OHLC values.
  • Clone / lock / hide / delete from the floating toolbar or right-click menu.
  • Templates: save the current style from the settings dialog and reapply it to new drawings.
  • Every action is undoable (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z).

Watch out for

  • A single-click arrow carries no text, so without an accompanying note you may forget why you placed it when reviewing weeks later.
