Arrow Mark Down

Tag short entries or exits from long positions when journaling trades on the chart.

What it draws

Arrow Mark Down stamps a single downward-pointing arrow at the bar and price you click. It is the bearish counterpart to Arrow Mark Up and is ideal for tagging short entries or bearish signals.

How to draw it

  1. Pick Arrow Mark Down from the left toolbar (Arrows group).
  2. Select the tool and click once where the arrow should sit; it is placed instantly at that bar and price. Drag the arrow later if you need to adjust it.

How traders use it

  • Tag short entries or exits from long positions when journaling trades on the chart.
  • Mark bearish rejection candles at resistance, such as shooting stars, while studying a level's history.
  • Stamp each bar where a sell signal triggered to visually audit a strategy's timing.

Editing & managing

  • Move / adjust: drag the drawing or any anchor handle; magnet mode snaps points to OHLC values.
  • Clone / lock / hide / delete from the floating toolbar or right-click menu.
  • Templates: save the current style from the settings dialog and reapply it to new drawings.
  • Every action is undoable (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z).

Watch out for

  • Down arrows placed above tall wicks can visually collide with the candle itself at tight zoom levels, so nudge them clear before taking screenshots.
