Curve

Draw a curved support line under a parabolic advance where straight trendlines keep breaking.

What it draws

The Curve draws a single smooth bend between two endpoints, shaped by a control point you position after placing the ends. It behaves like a flexible line you can bow toward or away from price.

How to draw it

  1. Pick Curve from the left toolbar (Shapes group).
  2. Click to place the first endpoint, click again for the second, then move the pointer to bend the curve and click once more to lock in its shape. Drag the control handle later to re-bend it.

How traders use it

  • Draw a curved support line under a parabolic advance where straight trendlines keep breaking.
  • Show the accelerating slope of a blow-off move to argue that the pace is unsustainable.
  • Connect a series of rounding swing lows more faithfully than a straight trendline would.

Settings reference

Double-click the drawing (or use its floating toolbar → gear) to open settings:

Editing & managing

  • Move / adjust: drag the drawing or any anchor handle; magnet mode snaps points to OHLC values.
  • Clone / lock / hide / delete from the floating toolbar or right-click menu.
  • Templates: save the current style from the settings dialog and reapply it to new drawings.
  • Every action is undoable (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z).

Watch out for

  • A curve can be bent to fit almost any price action after the fact, so be honest about whether the market actually followed it or you shaped it to the outcome.
