Circle

Ring a single decisive candle, such as an engulfing bar at a key level, so it stands out in a review.

What it draws

The Circle draws a perfect circle from a center point out to a radius you define. It is a clean way to spotlight a single event or area without implying a price range the way a rectangle does.

How to draw it

  1. Pick Circle from the left toolbar (Shapes group).
  2. Click once to set the center, then move the pointer outward and click again to set the radius and complete the circle.

How traders use it

  • Ring a single decisive candle, such as an engulfing bar at a key level, so it stands out in a review.
  • Spotlight the exact point where a trendline break occurred when teaching or journaling.
  • Mark a failed breakout or stop-run wick that explains why a trade was invalidated.

Settings reference

Double-click the drawing (or use its floating toolbar → gear) to open settings:

Editing & managing

  • Move / adjust: drag the drawing or any anchor handle; magnet mode snaps points to OHLC values.
  • Clone / lock / hide / delete from the floating toolbar or right-click menu.
  • Templates: save the current style from the settings dialog and reapply it to new drawings.
  • Every action is undoable (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z).

Watch out for

  • A circle that looks round at one zoom level can appear stretched after you rescale the axes, since its anchors live in price and time coordinates.
