Anchored Note

Store your full written trading plan for the day behind one compact marker that never scrolls away.

What it draws

The Anchored Note is a note whose marker stays fixed to a screen position rather than to price and time. Its full text opens on click, giving you a persistent, unobtrusive holder for longer reference content.

How to draw it

  1. Pick Anchored Note from the left toolbar (Text & Annotations group).
  2. Click where the note marker should sit on the screen, then type the content and confirm. The marker stays at that screen position through all scrolling and zooming; click it to read or edit.

How traders use it

  • Store your full written trading plan for the day behind one compact marker that never scrolls away.
  • Keep a symbol's fundamental snapshot, such as float and upcoming events, one click away while trading it.
  • Hold a checklist of review questions you answer at the end of each session.

Settings reference

Double-click the drawing (or use its floating toolbar → gear) to open settings:

Editing & managing

  • Move / adjust: drag the drawing or any anchor handle; magnet mode snaps points to OHLC values.
  • Clone / lock / hide / delete from the floating toolbar or right-click menu.
  • Templates: save the current style from the settings dialog and reapply it to new drawings.
  • Every action is undoable (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z).

Watch out for

  • Since the marker ignores chart coordinates, it cannot document a specific bar or level; it is for standing reference material, not event annotations.
