Emoji

Use a consistent emoji code in your journal, for example one symbol for disciplined trades and another for impulsive ones.

What it draws

The Emoji tool places an emoji character of your choice on the chart as a resizable marker. It adds instant, universally readable sentiment or categorization to a bar or level.

How to draw it

  1. Pick Emoji from the left toolbar (Markers group).
  2. Selecting the tool opens a picker panel; choose an emoji, then click on the chart to place it. Select the placed emoji and drag its corner handle to resize it.

How traders use it

  • Use a consistent emoji code in your journal, for example one symbol for disciplined trades and another for impulsive ones.
  • Drop a fire or rocket emoji on standout momentum bars when tagging the strongest moves of the week.
  • Mark your emotional state at decision points so behavioral patterns become visible during reviews.

Double-click the drawing (or use its floating toolbar → gear) to open settings:

Editing & managing

  • Move / adjust: drag the drawing or any anchor handle; magnet mode snaps points to OHLC values.
  • Clone / lock / hide / delete from the floating toolbar or right-click menu.
  • Templates: save the current style from the settings dialog and reapply it to new drawings.
  • Every action is undoable (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z).

Watch out for

  • Emojis are eye-catching, and more than a handful on one chart turns analysis into visual noise, so keep a small, consistent vocabulary.
