What it does
Ken Wood's trading framework built around two Commodity Channel Index lines: a 14-period CCI (the standard line) and a faster 6-period Turbo CCI, usually drawn with a histogram whose color tracks how long the CCI has stayed on one side of zero. The system defines trend by CCI position relative to zero (commonly six consecutive bars on one side) and then trades a family of named patterns such as the Zero-Line Reject, Trend-Line Break and Ghost pattern.
How to add it
Click Indicators (ƒx) in the header.
Search “Woodies CCI” and click the result.
Hover its legend row and click the gear to open settings.
How traders use it
- Establish trend first: roughly six or more consecutive CCI bars above zero define an uptrend, below zero a downtrend.
- The Zero-Line Reject is the bread-and-butter entry: in an uptrend, CCI dips toward zero and turns back up without crossing deeply negative — enter with the trend.
- Use the Turbo CCI's earlier crosses as a heads-up and the 14-period line for confirmation.
- The +100 and -100 bands still matter: trend moves that hold beyond 100 show strong momentum, while failures there set up reversal patterns.
- Exit or stand aside when the histogram color flips, signaling the trend definition has broken.

Tips
- The pane keeps its height in saved layouts, so size it once and it survives reloads.
- Resize the pane by dragging its divider; collapse it from the legend row when you need the space back.
- Use Add to favorites in the legend menu; starred studies surface at the top of the picker.
- A custom timeframe input lets it compute on a higher interval than the chart.
Watch out for
- The method is pattern-heavy and discretionary, so two traders can read the same chart differently; it demands practice before live use.
- In low-volatility chop the CCI whips across zero constantly, invalidating the trend definition and producing false setups.
