52 Week High/Low
Breakouts to new 52-week highs are classic momentum buys: the absence of overhead trapped supply lets moves run, and studies of momentum favor recent-high names.
Accelerator Oscillator
Color matters more than the zero line: consecutive green bars show building bullish acceleration, consecutive red bars show bearish acceleration.
Accumulation/Distribution
Trend confirmation: a rising A/D line alongside rising price shows volume supporting the advance; both making new highs together is healthy.
Accumulative Swing Index
Trade ASI like price: draw trendlines and support/resistance on the ASI line, and treat an ASI trendline break as an early confirmation of a price trendline break.
Advance/Decline Line
Confirm index highs: a new high in the index accompanied by a new high in the A/D line suggests a healthy, broad-based advance.
Advance/Decline Ratio
Readings above 1 indicate positive breadth; sustained readings well above 1 confirm a broad advance.
Advance/Decline Ratio (Bars)
Clusters of positive bars confirm a healthy uptrend; clusters of negative bars confirm distribution.
Anchored VWAP
Price above an anchored VWAP means the average participant since the anchor is in profit, supporting a bullish bias; price below it flips the bias bearish.
Arnaud Legoux Moving Average
Use it as a cleaner trend line: price above a rising ALMA is long bias, below a falling ALMA is short bias, with fewer noise wiggles than an EMA.
Aroon
Read trend state: Aroon Up above 70 with Aroon Down below 30 indicates a solid uptrend; the reverse a downtrend.
Aroon Oscillator
Use the zero line for bias: above zero favors uptrends, below zero downtrends, and zero crosses mark potential trend changes.
Auto Fib Extension
Use the 100 percent extension (a measured move equal to the prior swing) and the 161.8 percent level as primary profit targets after a breakout to new swing extremes.
Auto Fib Retracement
In an uptrend, watch the 38.2 to 61.8 percent retracement zone for pullback buying, with the 61.8 percent (golden ratio) level the most watched; mirror the logic for shorts in downtrends.
Auto Key Levels
Trade reactions at the levels: look for reversal setups (rejection wicks, engulfing bars) at heavily touched levels, and breakout setups when price closes decisively through one.
Auto Pitchfork
The median line acts as a magnet: price tends to return to it, so a pullback to the median line in the direction of the fork's slope is a common entry area.
Auto Trendlines
Use the drawn lines as dynamic support and resistance: expect reactions on first touches, and treat clean breaks with a closing bar beyond the line as continuation or reversal triggers.
Average Daily Range
Use ADR to set realistic intraday targets: if a stock has already covered most of its average daily range, the odds of much further extension that day shrink.
Average Directional Index
Use 25 as the key threshold: ADX above 25 signals a tradeable trend, below 20 signals a range where trend systems should stand aside.
Average Price
Use it as a smoother substitute for close in noisy markets: crossovers of price or a moving average against OHLC/4 flip less often than against raw closes.
Average True Range
Size stops with volatility: placing a stop 1.5 to 2 ATR beyond entry keeps it outside normal noise instead of at an arbitrary fixed distance.
Awesome Oscillator
Trade zero-line crosses: AO crossing above zero signals short-term momentum overtaking the longer baseline (bullish), and below zero bearish.
Balance of Power
Sustained readings above zero indicate buyer control and support long bias; sustained readings below zero indicate seller control.
BBTrend
Histogram above zero supports long positioning, below zero supports shorts; the zero cross marks a trend-direction change.
Bollinger Bands
Fade the extremes in a range: when price is moving sideways, touches of the upper band are potential sells and touches of the lower band potential buys, ideally confirmed by an oscillator like RSI.
Bollinger Bands %B
%B above 1 means price has closed outside the upper band (strength or overbought); below 0 means outside the lower band (weakness or oversold).
Bollinger Bands Width
The Squeeze: when width falls to its lowest level in roughly six months (or the bottom of its recent range), expect an expansion and a directional move soon.
Bollinger Bars
Bars marked at the upper band in an uptrend show a strong 'walk the band' condition; treat them as trend confirmation rather than an automatic sell.
Chaikin Money Flow
Use the zero line for bias: CMF held above zero indicates sustained accumulation, below zero distribution.
Chaikin Oscillator
Trade zero-line crosses: crossing above zero signals accelerating accumulation (bullish), below zero accelerating distribution (bearish).
Chaikin Volatility
A sharp spike in Chaikin Volatility often accompanies panic selling into a bottom; Chaikin himself linked volatility peaks with market lows.
Chande Kroll Stop
In a long trade, trail your stop along the lower (long) stop line; exit when price closes below it. Shorts mirror this against the upper line.
Chande Momentum Oscillator
Readings above +50 indicate overbought momentum and readings below -50 indicate oversold momentum; look for a turn back toward zero as an exit or fade cue.
Chandelier Exit
In a long trade, exit when price closes below the chandelier line; in a short trade, exit on a close above it.
Chop Zone
Sustained turquoise/dark green bars support long-side trend trades; sustained dark red bars support shorts.
Choppiness Index
Use the Fibonacci-derived thresholds: above 61.8 indicates a choppy, range-bound market; below 38.2 indicates a strong trend in force.
Commodity Channel Index
Trade breakouts of the +100/-100 bands: a push above +100 signals emerging upside strength, a drop below -100 emerging downside strength.
Connors RSI
Classic mean-reversion rules: look for longs when Connors RSI drops below 10 (or 5 for stricter entries) and consider exits or shorts above 90 (or 95).
Coppock Curve
Use the classic buy rule: the curve turning upward from below zero on a monthly chart historically flags major bear-market bottoms in stock indices.
Correlation Coefficient
Readings above +0.7 indicate a strong positive relationship and below -0.7 a strong inverse one; between -0.3 and +0.3 the pair is effectively uncorrelated.
Cumulative Volume Delta
Confirmation: price making new highs while CVD also makes new highs shows genuine buying aggression behind the move.
Detrended Price Oscillator
Estimate cycle length: measure the distance between successive DPO peaks (or troughs) to find the instrument's dominant short-term cycle.
Dext Anchored VWAP With Bands
Anchor from a major swing low: while price holds above that anchored VWAP the buyers from the low remain in profit and dips to the line are buyable; losing it shifts control.
Dext AutoFib
In an uptrend, watch the 38.2-61.8 percent retracement zone of the last upswing for pullback-buy setups, with the 50 and 61.8 levels the most-watched.
Dext Boring & Explosive Candle
A cluster of boring candles in a tight range marks energy building; place breakout orders around that consolidation.
Dext Boring Candle & Explosive Candle
Trade the transition: the first explosive candle emerging from a run of boring candles signals expansion beginning and gives a directional cue from its color.
Dext Candlestick Patterns
Only act on patterns at meaningful locations: a hammer at tested support or an evening star at resistance carries weight; the same pattern mid-range is noise.
Dext CM MACD Custom Indicator
MACD crossing above the signal line is a bullish momentum shift, below is bearish; crosses that occur far from the zero line are stretched and more prone to snap-back.
Dext Consolidation and Breakout(inside bars)
A single inside bar after a strong move is a continuation pause; trade the break of the mother bar's high or low in the trend direction.
Dext CPR with Pivot Level Daily
A narrow CPR (top and bottom central lines close together) signals a compressed prior session and raises the odds of a trending day; a wide CPR favors a range-bound, mean-reverting day.
Dext CPR with Pivot Level Monthly
Price holding above the monthly CPR keeps the positional bias bullish for the month; a fall back inside it warns the monthly auction is rebalancing.
Dext CPR with Pivot Level Tomorrow
After the close, note whether tomorrow's CPR is narrow or wide to pre-set expectations: narrow favors a trend-day playbook, wide favors range tactics.
Dext CPR with Pivot Level Weekly
A narrow weekly CPR flags a compressed prior week and elevates the odds of a trending week — a favorable backdrop for swing breakout entries.
Dext Distance from Moving Average
Identify the symbol's typical extension range from history and treat readings beyond it as stretched — for example many liquid stocks rarely sustain more than a few percent beyond their 20-day average.
Dext Dr Devendra's Smart Renko Engine
A brick-color reversal after a sustained run of same-colored bricks is the core trend-change signal.
Dext Fibonacci Bollinger Bands
Use the outermost bands as extreme zones: touches there mark stretched conditions favoring mean reversion toward the basis in ranging markets.
Dext Heiken Ashi Super Trend by Ankit Kapoor
Go with the Supertrend state: long while the line is below price (bullish), short or flat while above (bearish); the flip is the signal.
Dext Humble LinReg Candles
A color flip of the LinReg candles after a sustained run is the basic trend-change alert.
Dext Jurik Moving Average
Use the JMA's slope as the primary signal: rising slope supports longs, falling slope supports shorts, and a flattening line warns of transition.
Dext MAMA Indicator
MAMA crossing above FAMA is the buy signal; crossing below is the sell signal — the adaptive design keeps these crosses relatively rare.
Dext Moving Average Colored 6 EMA Multiple
Full bullish stacking of all six EMAs (fastest above slowest) confirms an established uptrend; full bearish stacking confirms a downtrend.
Dext Premier RSI Oscillator
Readings pushing beyond roughly +0.9 mark stretched bullish momentum and beyond -0.9 stretched bearish momentum; hooks back from those extremes are reversal cues.
Dext Premier Stochastic Oscillator
Crosses back inside from beyond +0.9 are sell-side triggers and from beyond -0.9 buy-side triggers — the canonical PSO signals.
Dext Prev Day OHLC
Treat the previous day's high and low as the primary breakout and reversal levels; acceptance beyond them signals range extension, rejection signals a return to balance.
Dext RSI Chart Bars
A string of overbought-colored bars in an uptrend signals strong momentum, not an automatic short; the first neutral bar after such a string often marks the start of a pullback.
Dext RSI Divergence
Treat regular bullish divergence at support after a downtrend as a reversal setup; enter on a trigger such as a break of the recent lower high, not on the divergence alone.
Dext Simple Range
A cluster of shrinking-range bars marks compression; expect an expansion phase to follow and prepare breakout plans.
Dext Squeeze Momentum Indicator
Squeeze on (commonly shown as red or black dots) means compression — prepare orders but do not trade the chop inside it.
Dext SSL Channel
A flip of the channel to bullish (price closing above the high-side average) is a long signal; the bearish flip is a short or exit signal.
Dext Total Rupees Volume
Use rupee-volume spikes to confirm breakouts and reversals: large money commitment validates the move better than raw share count.
Dext Trend Intensity Index
Readings above 80 indicate a strong uptrend in force; below 20, a strong downtrend — use these zones as trend filters for entries.
Dext VAMA Volume Adjusted Moving Average Function
Treat VAMA as a fair-value line backed by volume: price above a rising VAMA confirms an advance that volume actually supports.
Dext WaveTrend with Crosses
A WT1 cross below WT2 above the overbought level (commonly +60) is a sell signal; a cross up below the oversold level (commonly -60) is a buy signal.
Dext Zero Lag EMA v2
Use price crossing the zero-lag EMA, or the line's own slope flip, as an early trend-change trigger.
Directional Movement Index
+DI crossing above -DI is a buy-side signal and -DI crossing above +DI a sell-side signal, but only act when ADX confirms a trend.
Directional Movement Rating
Readings above 25 indicate a meaningful trend worth trading with trend-following tools; below 20 suggests a range where mean-reversion tactics work better.
Divergence Indicator
Regular bullish divergence after an extended decline is a reversal warning: look for longs once price confirms with a break of a short-term swing high.
Donchian Channels
Trade breakouts: a close at a new 20-bar high is a long entry and a new 20-bar low a short entry, the classic Donchian system.
Double EMA
Use it wherever you would use an EMA but want earlier turns, such as trend filters and trailing guides on fast timeframes.
Ease Of Movement
Readings above zero suggest price is rising with little resistance, supporting long positions; readings below zero suggest easy downside movement.
Elder's Force Index
With the 13-period EMA, sustained readings above zero confirm bull control and below zero confirm bear control; use the zero cross as a trend-bias switch.
EMA Cross
Fast EMA crossing above the slow EMA is a buy signal; crossing below is a sell signal — popular pairs are 9/21 for swing timing and 50/200 for major trend.
Envelope
In a sideways market, a touch of the upper band flags overbought conditions to fade and a touch of the lower band flags oversold conditions to buy, targeting the midline.
Exponential Moving Average
Use it as a faster trend filter: trade long only while price is above the 20 or 50 EMA, short only while below.
Fibonacci Bollinger Bands
The outermost 1.0 bands behave like classic Bollinger extremes: touches there mark stretched conditions where mean reversion toward the basis becomes likely.
Fisher Transform
Trade the trigger cross: the Fisher line crossing its lagged signal line after reaching an extreme is the standard entry cue.
Guppy Multiple Moving Average
Both ribbons separated and aligned in the same direction indicate a strong, healthy trend; trade only that direction.
Historical Volatility
Use HV to size positions and set stops: wider stops and smaller size when HV is high, tighter stops and larger size when HV is low.
Hull Moving Average
Trade slope changes: the HMA turning up is a buy cue and turning down a sell cue, often used with the line colored by direction.
Ichimoku Cloud
Read the big picture first: price above the cloud is bullish, below is bearish, inside is neutral or transitioning.
Kaufman Adaptive Moving Average
Use it as a whipsaw-resistant trend filter: because it goes nearly flat in ranges, price chopping around a flat KAMA tells you to stand aside.
Keltner Channels
Trade trend rides: price closing repeatedly along the upper band signals a strong uptrend worth holding, with the EMA midline as the pullback buy zone.
Klinger Oscillator
Trade signal-line crossovers in the direction of the prevailing trend, which is the primary designed use.
Know Sure Thing
A KST cross above its signal line is bullish and a cross below bearish; signals are most reliable when they occur in the direction of the zero line's side.
Least Squares Moving Average
Trade slope flips: LSMA turning upward is a momentum buy cue, turning downward a sell cue.
Linear Regression
Read the slope as trend: a rising regression line quantifies an uptrend, and slope flattening warns the trend is losing pace.
Linear Regression Channel
The slope of the middle line gives an objective read of trend direction and steepness over the window.
Linear Regression Slope
Zero-line crosses mark trend direction changes: slope turning positive supports longs, negative supports shorts.
MA Cross
Take the fast average crossing above the slow one as a buy-side trend signal and the cross below as a sell-side signal, ideally in the direction of a higher-timeframe trend.
MA with EMA Cross
When the faster EMA crosses above the slower SMA, treat it as a bullish momentum shift; a cross below is bearish.
MACD
Trade signal-line crossovers: MACD crossing above its signal line is a bullish trigger, crossing below is bearish, strongest when taken in the direction of the larger trend.
Majority Rule
Crosses above 50% signal that up-bars have taken the majority — a simple trend-direction flip to the long side; crosses below 50% flip it short.
Mass Index
Watch for the classic reversal bulge: the Mass Index rises above 27 and then falls back below 26.5, which flags a likely trend change without saying which direction.
McGinley Dynamic
Use it exactly like a moving average but with more trust in fast markets: price above a rising Dynamic favors longs, below a falling one favors shorts.
Median Price
Use it as the source series for moving averages or oscillators when you want indicator readings less distorted by erratic closes.
Momentum
Use the zero line: crossing above zero means price is higher than N bars ago (bullish shift), below zero bearish.
Money Flow Index
Use 80/20 as the primary zones: above 80 overbought, below 20 oversold, with 90/10 marking rare extreme readings.
Moving Average Channel
Price holding above the upper band (the average high) signals a strong uptrend; below the lower band, a strong downtrend.
Moving Average Double
A fast-over-slow cross (golden-cross style) is a buy signal; the reverse (death-cross style) is a sell signal, most reliable on higher timeframes.
Moving Average Hamming
Use it wherever you would use an SMA but want less jitter: trend direction from its slope, and price-versus-line for bias.
Moving Average Multiple
A ribbon fanned out in order with all lines sloping one way marks a strong trend; trade only in that direction.
Moving Average Ribbon
A ribbon fully ordered with the shortest average on top and all lines sloping up confirms a strong uptrend; the inverse ordering confirms a downtrend.
Moving Average Triple
Trade only in the direction of full alignment: all three stacked and sloping the same way is the highest-conviction state.
Negative Volume Index
The classic Fosback signal: NVI above its 255-day moving average has historically been one of the stronger indications that a bull market is in force.
Net Volume
Large positive spikes at support or after a decline show aggressive buying interest; large negative spikes at resistance show distribution.
On Balance Volume
Confirm trends: new price highs accompanied by new OBV highs show volume backing the move.
Parabolic SAR
Use it as a trailing stop: hold longs while the dots are below price and exit (or reverse) when price hits a dot.
Pivot Points
Use the central pivot for bias: trading above P favors longs toward R1/R2, below P favors shorts toward S1/S2.
Positive Volume Index
Compare PVI to a long moving average of itself, commonly 255 days: PVI above that average has historically indicated favorable, bull-market conditions.
Price Channel
Breakout trading: a close above the upper channel signals an N-bar high breakout to buy, and a close below the lower channel a breakdown to sell, the core of classic turtle-style systems (20-bar entry, 10-bar exit).
Price Momentum Oscillator
PMO above zero indicates positive longer-term momentum; below zero, negative momentum.
Price Oscillator
A cross above zero means the fast average is above the slow one and momentum has turned bullish; a cross below zero turns the bias bearish.
Price Volume Trend
Confirm trends: PVT rising with price shows volume-weighted money flow backing the advance; both breaking out together strengthens the signal.
Pring's Special K
Treat major peaks and troughs in Special K as candidates for primary trend reversals in price.
Rank Correlation Index
Readings above +80 mark a persistently rising, overbought market; below -80 a persistently falling, oversold one.
Rate of Change
Use zero-line crosses as momentum shifts: sustained moves above zero back long positions, below zero shorts.
Ratio
Use it for relative-strength decisions: hold or buy the asset while its ratio versus the benchmark rises, rotate away when it rolls over.
Relative Strength Comparison
Prefer longs in symbols whose ratio line is rising versus the index, and shorts or avoidance where it is falling; leaders tend to keep leading.
Relative Strength Index
Use the classic zones: above 70 is overbought and below 30 is oversold, with reversals toward the midline often following extreme readings in ranging markets.
Relative Vigor Index
A bullish crossover of the RVI above its signal line suggests strengthening upward vigor; a cross below suggests weakening momentum.
Relative Volatility Index
Dorsey's original rules: buy when RVI rises above 60, sell when it falls below 40 (with 50 as the directional divider).
Relative Volume at Time
Readings meaningfully above 1 (commonly 1.5 to 2 or higher) flag unusual interest, often driven by news, and mark stocks in play for intraday trading.
Schaff Trend Cycle
Readings above 75 are considered overbought and below 25 oversold; the classic signal is the cross back out of these zones, not the entry into them.
Session Volume Profile
The session POC and value area edges (VAH and VAL) act as intraday support and resistance; price often rotates back to the POC after failed pushes away from it.
Simple Moving Average
Read trend direction: price holding above a rising SMA is an uptrend context, price below a falling SMA is a downtrend context.
SMI Ergodic Indicator
The primary signal is the main line crossing its signal line: cross up for longs, cross down for shorts, best taken in the direction of the larger trend.
Smoothed Moving Average
Use it as a long-horizon trend filter: price above a rising SMMA defines a bull regime, below a falling one a bear regime, with fewer flips than an SMA of the same length.
Spread
A rising spread means the chart symbol is gaining on the comparison symbol; a falling spread means it is losing ground.
Squeeze Momentum
Wait for the fire: enter when the squeeze releases (dots flip from squeeze-on to squeeze-off) in the direction of the momentum histogram.
Standard Deviation
Compare the current reading to its own recent history: multi-week lows in standard deviation mark volatility squeezes that often precede strong breakouts.
Standard Error
Falling standard error while price trends means an increasingly orderly move; trend-following signals are more trustworthy in this state.
Standard Error Bands
Tight, narrow bands around a sloping regression line confirm a strong, orderly trend; trade continuation in the slope's direction.
Stochastic
Use 80/20 as the overbought/oversold zones and look for %K to cross back out of the zone before acting.
Stochastic Momentum Index
Readings above about +40 are commonly treated as overbought and below about -40 as oversold.
Stochastic RSI
Use 80/20 zones: readings above 80 are overbought and below 20 oversold, occurring far more often than on plain RSI.
Supertrend
Trade the flips: the line switching below price is a buy signal, switching above price is a sell signal.
Technical Ratings
Use the overall rating as a quick first-pass screen for whether the technical weight of evidence is bullish, bearish or mixed on the chosen timeframe.
Time Weighted Average Price
Price trading persistently above the session TWAP indicates buyers are in control of the session; persistently below indicates sellers.
Trade Volume Index
A rising TVI during a flat price consolidation suggests buyers are absorbing supply at the ask, hinting the range will resolve upward.
Trading Sessions
Mark the opening range of the session you trade; breaks of the first 15-60 minutes' high or low are classic momentum triggers.
Trend Strength Index
Use it as a strategy switch: readings beyond roughly +/-0.7 favor trend-following entries, readings near zero favor range tactics or standing aside.
Triple EMA
Use it as a near-real-time trend line for momentum trading, entering when price closes across the TEMA in the direction of the larger trend.
TRIX
Trade zero-line crosses: TRIX moving above zero signals the smoothed trend has turned up; below zero, down.
True Range
A True Range bar far above recent norms flags a volatility event, such as news, a breakout, or capitulation, deserving attention.
True Strength Index
Zero-line crosses define trend: TSI above zero supports longs, below zero supports shorts.
Typical Price
Use it as the source for moving averages, VWAP-style calculations, and pivot points when you want the close's influence included but softened.
Ulcer Index
Low and falling Ulcer Index readings characterize smooth uptrends that are comfortable to hold; rising readings warn of deepening drawdowns.
Ultimate Oscillator
Trade the classic divergence rule: a bullish divergence where the oscillator's low is below 30, followed by a break above the divergence's intervening high, is the canonical buy signal.
Up/Down Volume
Bars where up volume clearly dominates confirm buying pressure behind an advance; dominant down volume confirms selling pressure.
VIX Fix
Spikes to extreme highs flag panic and potential bottoms; a common filter is a reading above its upper Bollinger Band (20-period, 2 standard deviations) or above the 85th to 90th percentile of its own range.
Volatility Close-to-Close
Use it as the baseline realized-volatility gauge: compare today's reading against the instrument's own history to classify quiet versus turbulent regimes.
Volatility Index
Use it to size stops and targets: placing stops a multiple (commonly 1.5-3x) of current volatility away keeps them outside normal noise.
Volatility OHLC
Prefer it over close-to-close volatility on gapping instruments (stocks with earnings, overnight-driven futures), since it captures the gaps explicitly.
Volatility Stop
Use the line as a trailing stop: stay long while price holds above it, exit or reverse when a close crosses it, and mirror the logic for shorts.
Volatility Zero Trend Close-to-Close
Read it as a volatility regime gauge: rising values mean daily swings are growing; falling values mean the market is quieting down.
Volume
Confirm breakouts: a move through support or resistance on volume well above its average (say 1.5 to 2 times the 20-bar average) is far more trustworthy than one on thin volume.
Volume Delta
Positive delta on up bars and negative delta on down bars confirms that aggression matches price direction; the trend is being paid for.
Volume Oscillator
Positive and rising readings during a price move confirm it: trends and breakouts on expanding volume are more trustworthy.
Volume Profile Visible Range
Volume Profile Visible Range — a price-chart overlay in the Volume & OrderFlow family.
Volume Rate of Change
A strong positive spike on a price breakout validates the move; a breakout with flat or negative Volume ROC is suspect and prone to failure.
Volume Weighted Average Price
Use it as the intraday bias line: price holding above VWAP favors longs, price below favors shorts.
Volume Weighted Moving Average
Compare with the SMA: VWMA above the same-period SMA means volume favors the buyers; below it, the sellers.
Vortex Indicator
A VI+ cross above VI- is a buy-side trend signal; a VI- cross above VI+ is a sell-side signal, most reliable on daily charts.
VWAP Deviation
Fade extremes on range days: touches of the 2nd deviation band with fading momentum are mean-reversion entries targeting VWAP.
Wave Trend Oscillator
Crosses of the main line below its signal line above +60 are classic sell setups; crosses up from below -60 are classic buy setups.
Weighted Close
Use it as an indicator source when you want the close to dominate but with wick information retained, reducing noise from intrabar spikes.
Weighted Moving Average
Use it where you want SMA-style smoothing with quicker turns, such as identifying short-term trend shifts on intraday charts.
Williams %R
Use -20 and -80 as the zones: above -20 is overbought, below -80 is oversold.
Williams Alligator
Lines stacked Lips over Teeth over Jaw and spreading apart signal an uptrend: trade longs, ideally on fractal breakouts above the Teeth.
Williams Fractal
Treat up fractals as minor resistance and down fractals as minor support; a break of the most recent fractal in the trend direction is a classic breakout trigger.
Woodies CCI
Establish trend first: roughly six or more consecutive CCI bars above zero define an uptrend, below zero a downtrend.
Zig Zag
Use it to identify swing highs and lows for support and resistance, trendline anchoring, and Elliott Wave or harmonic pattern counting.
ZigZag Fib Retracement
Look for pullback entries at the 38.2%-61.8% zone of the last impulse leg, in the direction of that leg; 61.8% is the classic 'golden' level.
