What it does
Auto Fib Extension automatically anchors three points, a swing low, a swing high, and the retracement pivot between them (reversed for downtrends), and projects Fibonacci extension levels beyond the original swing at ratios such as 61.8, 100, 161.8, and 261.8 percent. These levels estimate how far the next leg of the trend may travel once it resumes past the prior extreme. It is primarily a profit-target tool rather than an entry tool.
How to add it
Click Indicators (ƒx) in the header.
Search “Auto Fib Extension” and click the result.
Hover its legend row and click the gear to open settings.
How traders use it
- Use the 100 percent extension (a measured move equal to the prior swing) and the 161.8 percent level as primary profit targets after a breakout to new swing extremes.
- Scale out in stages: take partial profit at 100 percent, hold a runner toward 161.8 or 261.8 percent when momentum and volume stay strong.
- Watch price behavior at each extension: stalls, reversal candles, or momentum divergence at 127.2 or 161.8 percent often mark exhaustion points worth fading only with confirmation.
- Extensions that coincide with higher-timeframe resistance, round numbers, or measured-move targets from other swings are the highest-quality targets.

Every plot's color, line width and visibility can be changed on the Style tab. Precision, price-scale labels and status-line values are configurable at the bottom of the Style tab.
Tips
- Its price-scale label can be switched off per-indicator at the bottom of the Style tab if the axis gets crowded.
- Drag the indicator to its own pane from the legend ⋯ menu if it crowds the price chart.
- Double-click any of its lines to jump straight into the settings dialog.
Watch out for
- Its projections inherit the auto-picked anchors: a newly confirmed swing re-anchors the tool and shifts every target, and detection lags the actual pivots.
- Extension ratios are probabilistic map points, not barriers; trends can terminate well short of the first target or blow through all of them.
