What it does
Draws the daily Central Pivot Range — the pivot (high+low+close)/3, the bottom central (high+low)/2 and the top central (2*pivot minus bottom central) — along with the classic floor-pivot support and resistance levels R1-R3 and S1-S3, all computed from the prior day's prices. The CPR represents the prior session's value area proxy, and its width and location relative to price frame the day's likely character. It is a staple of intraday index and stock trading in Indian markets.
How to add it
Click Indicators (ƒx) in the header.
Search “Dext CPR with Pivot Level Daily” and click the result.
Hover its legend row and click the gear to open settings.
How traders use it
- A narrow CPR (top and bottom central lines close together) signals a compressed prior session and raises the odds of a trending day; a wide CPR favors a range-bound, mean-reverting day.
- Price opening and holding above the CPR is a bullish bias for the session; below it, bearish; inside it, neutral until a side is taken.
- Use R1/S1 as first targets on breakouts from the CPR, with R2/R3 or S2/S3 as extended targets on strong trend days.
- Virgin CPRs (untested ranges from prior days) act as magnets and strong support/resistance when revisited.
- Two or more consecutive higher-value CPRs indicate an ascending value pattern supporting a swing-long bias.

Tips
- Drag the indicator to its own pane from the legend ⋯ menu if it crowds the price chart.
- Double-click any of its lines to jump straight into the settings dialog.
- Save the configured chart as a study template (Indicators menu) to reapply this exact setup elsewhere.
Watch out for
- CPR levels are derived purely from yesterday's three prices; a big overnight gap or fresh news can render them irrelevant for the day.
- The narrow-CPR-equals-trend heuristic is probabilistic — narrow ranges also precede failed breakouts and violent two-sided days.
